Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the transport fleet, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal use of resources.
- Planning of transport routes and schedules, taking into account both time and cost efficiency.
- Overseeing the vehicle fleet, including maintenance and servicing of vehicles and ensuring they comply with safety regulations.
- Liaise with shipping, logistics and customer service departments to ensure high quality transport services.
- Develop and implement fleet optimisation strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
- Experience in a management position in the transport industry, own fleet management experience required.
- Knowledge of road transport regulations and ability to apply them in practice.
- Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to manage time and priorities with a high level of accuracy and meticulousness.
